Meet our accountant.
My name is Kandy M. Stearns and I am the owner of Stearns & Company Accounting & Tax Services. I have over 20 years of experience and have had my own practice since 2006.
I love numbers, and I got into this field during high school because I love to help people and guide them in the right direction financially. Whether I’m working with an individual or a local business with their tax planning, bookkeeping, or accounting, I want the best for them and will do what I can to make the best happen for them.

I went to Alfred State College and have my associate’s degree in Accounting. I am also an Enrolled Agent, EA. I passed the IRS exam to become licensed to prepare income taxes. I am required to have a minimum of 72 hours of continuing education every three years, and I generally have more than that.
